Description Second World War battledress blouse khaki ('1946' pattern), 'CANADA' shoulder titles, Lieutenant rank insignia on epaulettes. Medal ribbons:1939-45 Star, France & Germany Star, Defence Medal, Canadian Volunteer Service Medal with maple leaf and 1939-45 War medal. Tartan patches and 15th (Scottish) Infantry Division patches on sleeves.

Alfred T Kirby was in the 9th Battalion and was wounded in June 1944 at Normandy and again 1945 crossing the Rhine. Served in Cameronians during the Second World War 'on loan' from Canada.
