| Fossil of an unidentified fern (some scratches on surface). Paper label on reverse : 'Fossil found at Palace Colliery, Bothwellhaugh'.
Found in the 1960/70's by Alexander Hanna Black, a former Physics teacher at Duncanrigg High school in East Kilbride. He was an amateur geologist and lived in Bothwell in the 1960's before moving from the area in the early 1970's. |
