Description
| Paper Knife Made after the 1914 -18 War. The handle is believed to have been made from the letters sent between Janet Young and her husband during the First World War. Both were residents of Strathaven. The knife is engraved with the word 'Salonika' on one side of the blade. Mr Young served there for some time during the war. Jenny and Bill are written on one side of the blade, with picture of a knot. Handle is made of wood. |
