Description 'Scraps from my journal during the War of the Crimea from November 1854 to August 1856' Album of drawings, watercolours and notes. Album by Henry Hope Crealock from his journal during the Crimean War. 250 pages. Bound in heavy boards in dark green and mid-green leather. Appears to be a collection of several albums in one binding. Drawings on paper gummed onto pages of album.
Inscribed inside cover:
'Sent for by His KK Apostolic Majesty Franz Joseph I of Austria 23 January 1869, who did me the honour of looking at them and approving of them. HHC.'
