Description Steel or iron head and neck. The blade is flat, double-edged, ending in a fine, needle point. The bottom of the blade ends in long, pointed barbs, one of which has snapped off near the head. The neck is decoratively engraved and features several rows of small spikes. The shaft appears to be of wood which is wrapped in some kind of animal skin covered in scales, or leather that has been worked to appear scale-like. There is a leather lanyard at the bottom end of the shaft.
