Description Corsican Vendetta knife.

Small, single-edged blade ending in a fine needle-point. Rounded carved horn handle, tapering from pommel to the blade. The pommel and the neck of the handle are of white metal. There are four white metal rings spaced along the length of the handle. The horn handle is horizontally grooved. The blade carries an inscription on both sides in Italian. One side reads 'Vendetta Corsa' while the other reads 'Che la mia ferita dia mortale,' which translates as, 'May the wound be fatal.'

The scabbard is of black leather, with white metal mounts at the throat and the tip. There is a small white metal suspension loop.
