Description Socket type bayonet, with cruciform blade, i.e. the blade is not flat, it is in the shape of a cross (+). The blade is flattened at the end, like a flat-nose screwdriver. There is a grooved-steel press release button, on which is stamped a star. The base of the blade is impressed with the serial number 117036. This is quite likely a Russian bayonet from the Second World War, made to fit the Mosin-Nagant rifle.
