Description "J-B" Ensign box camera, with cardboard box. Made of wood with black, leather-effect covering. Leather hand-loop on top. The box has delivery details of "Andrew Russell, 226 Quarry Street, Hamilton, Scotland" and is post-marked with the date 15th May 1929. The camera was made by Houghton-Butcher Manufacturing Company Ltd, and was issued as a free gift to subscribers of 'John Bull' magazine.
