Description
| Photograph of soldiers at Majkali Mountain Warfare Camp. There appears to be approximately a full company of soldiers, most likely of The Cameronians (Scottish Rifles). The officer at the very front of the group looks to be Captain (later Major) Roderick Gordon Hogg, as this soldier appears to be wearing a black hackle and Douglas Tartan diamond on his pith helmet. The photograph is just one of a series of documents and objects relating to the late Major Roderick Gordon Hogg of The Cameronians (Scottish Rifles). Please see 2006.417 for details of his medals and awards, and 2006.418 for details of the other documents relating to this officer. |
