Description A miniature shoe in brown/black leather. Very delicately made. Leather is tooled to form patterns. Nailed sole. Note indented leaf pattern in centre of sole. Made as an apprentice piece by James Watson c1840, possibly at Chapelton.
James Watson became the Road Surveyer at Strathaven (?)
