Description Wooden base with rows of holes (26 x 8). Wooden uprights at sides. Rack of eight spars can be raised or lowered above base. Top - Rack of eight grooved spars from which hang long metal rods, twisted at end. (At present only hanging at one end - but would have been right across.) At sides, roughly halfway between base and top, wooden bar with same hole formation. On one side, this bar, is a thick cage of springs and wires. Each hole contains a spring geld at abck by extra block of wood and brass screws.

Large piece of wood holds rack at top. Number of pulleys and levers protruding in various directions.
