| Silver Medal which features the head of Empress Eugenie of France and the incsription 'Lady Wood le 25 mar (?) 1880. It is believed that this was awarded to Lady Wood, wife of Field Marshal Evelyn Wood, by Empress Eugenie of France as a thank you for accompanying her on her pilgrimage to visit the scene of the death of her son Prince Imperial of France in Zululand 1879. |
