| Silver Medal which features the head of Empress Eugenie of France and the inscription 'General Sir Evelyn Wood le 25 may (?) 1880. It is believed that this was awarded to Evelyn Wood by Empress Eugenie of France as a thank you for accompanying her on her pilgrimage to visit the scene of the death of her son, Prince Imperial of France in Zululand 1879. |
