Description Struck to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Rolls-Royce East Kilbride Site. Coin made of gold-coloured metal. Obverse has the numerals '50th' above a scroll reading '1953/ Anniversary/ 2003'. The RR logo and company name, 'Rolls-Royce' are under the scroll. Around the edge is the working 'Rolls-Royce East Kilbride Site. Officially opened on the Twentieth of November Nineteen Fifty Three'. The reverse depicts an engineer working on an engine, the title above reads 'Avon Gas Turbine Engine'. At the top is the RR logo and company title 'Rolls-Royce'.
