Description
| No hilt or grips. The blade is double edged and features a central fuller (groove) on both sides with two shorter fullers near the tang. The tang is very narrow and sits slightly off the centre of the blade. Either side of the blade is engraved "Andrea Ferera" with motifs of semi-circular designs, crosses and dots. This is the blade from the broadsword of Henry Hall, a well known Covenanter who died at South Queensferry in 1680. |
