Description Softbound book with gray covers printed in red. Front cover shows a seated woman who is embroidering a cloth. Book's author is 'Madge of Truth (Mrs Humphry). Peri-Lusta was a brand of thread for needlework. The book is divided into section for different types of needlework - Crochet Work, Tatting, Knitted Edgings, cross stitch designs and monograms, canvas work, drawn thread work, hardanger work, english embroidery, drapery embroidery. Book appears to date to around 1910, judging by pictures of ladies fashions included. Book includes some pages printed in colour.
