Description
| Sampler. Very bright colours. Border of strawberries and flowers with a rose in each corner. At the top - row of three trees with flowers. In the middle - trees, shrubs, fountains, and flowers in a basket. At the bottom - large house with birds on the roof. Raspberry bush to the right. Flower tree to the left.
Marion Thomson lived in Netherfield Cottage, Stonehouse Road, Strathaven from 1841. Netherfield House is depicted on the sampler.
