Description Embroidered blazer badge of The Cameronians (Scottish Rifles). Mullet (star) and stringed bugle made from gold-coloured thread, thistle sprays on each side of green-coloured thread, heads of thistles in purple thread, all on a black fabric background. This badge belonged to Jim Marler who served with the 6th Battalion during the liberation of the Dutch islands in World War Two. He was severely wounded in battle, resulting in the loss of his right arm.
