| Embroidered postcard 'Wishing you a Happy New Year' - Collection of First World War Postcards (plus one from the Second World War). Postcards sent from France to Mr Taylor and his mother by his uncles and cousin. Also some uninscribed cards. Some of the cards (nos. 26, 29, 30-37) are flower embroidered; cards nos. 17-24 are 'Souvenir de Waterloo'. Card 39 commemorates the sinking of the Athenia 3 September 1939. |
