Description Embroidered postcard 'To my dear sister' - written on reverse 'Dear Polly, This is another PC to your collection and I hope you and John and all the wee yins are still in the best of health as this leaves me the same, from your brother Wull, 'Somewhere in France' - addressed to Mrs John Taylor, 1 Miller Street, Rosebank Place, Cambuslang by Glasgow, Scotland - from collection of First World War Postcards (plus one from the Second World War). Postcards sent from France to Mr Taylor and his mother by his uncles and cousin. Also some uninscribed cards. Some of the cards (nos. 26, 29, 30-37) are flower embroidered; cards nos. 17-24 are 'Souvenir de Waterloo'. Card 39 commemorates the sinking of the Athenia 3 September 1939.
