Description According to Regimental Standing Orders (1930) and Dress Regulations (1931) this is the pipe banner carried by the piper of 'B' Company, 2nd Battalion The Cameronians (Scottish Rifles) at the Battle of Neuve Chapelle, March 1915. The tradition at this time was for the Company piper to carry a banner bearing the Company Commander's family coat of arms. 'B' Company at Neuve Chapelle was commanded by Captain E. B. Ferrers; the coat of arms shown is that of the Ferrers family.

Small rectangular plaque for the frame that it was once displayed in location CR/10/02/07/04. "2nd Bn. The Scottish Rifles B. Company. Lieut. Col. E.B. Ferrers DS."
