| Standard issue marching compass of German (Nazi) forces between 1939-45. Black plastic cased compass with "Marsch-Kompass" on hinged lid. Aluminium interior of base surrounds compass with hinged mirror. Lid has recessed circular area with white arrow pointing up. Found in suitcase with other property belonging to Sgt George Mahood of the 7th and 12th Battalion The Cameronians (SR) |
