Description Oil painting showing the paddle steamer Isle of Arran in the 1890s, Cowlport. The 'Isle of Arran' was built by T B Seath & Co, Rutherglen, for J L & J D Buchanan for services on the Broomielaw-Arran run, 1892. Sold in 1933 to the General Steam Navigation Co for service on the Thames and South Coast holiday routes. Broken up 1936. Painting was likely painted in the 1970s or 1980s from a contemporary photograph.
Painting is framed, glazed and signed at lower right with title at lower left.
