Description Painting, oil on board of the paddle steamer 'Lucy Ashton' in the 1890s. The 'Lucy Ashton' was built in 1888, by T B Seath & Co, Rutherglen, for the North British Steam Packet Co for service on Craigendoran-Holy Loch run. Sold in 1949 and hull purchased in 1950 by Shipbuilders Association for experimental purposes. Painting was likely painted in the 1970s or 1980s from a contemporary photograph. Painting is framed, glazed and signed at lower right with title at lower left.
