Description Tea cup, white with blue pastoral landscape scene and floral design transfer print inside and out. See also 80.1353/b and 80.1353/c for saucer and plate. Design is called 'Andalusia' by John Thomson/Annfield Pottery of Glasgow - their mark is on base of matching saucer and plate but this cup only has the number '4' impressed on the base.

Annfield Pottery was established between 1816 and 1826 by John Thomson and was sited in the east end of Glasgow. The pottery was closed by 1883. The Annfield pottery produced utilitarian rather than ornamental wares, and exported to Canada and Australia. Items may be marked with Thomson, J.T., J.T. & Sons or Prince of Wales.
