| Portrait, oil on canvas with uneven weave. Portrait of a man with long hair, 17th century style, wearing a large star shape on his sleeve. The sitter is William, 2nd Duke of Hamilton (1616-1651). 'Wm., Duke of Hamilton' printed on reverse. The artist is unknown but the portrait is similar to a larger painting in the collection of the National Portrait Gallery, after Adriaen Hanneman, suggesting that this portrait may be a copy of that work.
