Description Blue and white transfer printed jug. Greek design. Marked: Corsina, JT John Thomson, Annfield Pottery. Corsina pattern made between 1826 to 1865.

Annfield Pottery was established between 1816 and 1826 by John Thomson and was sited in the east end of Glasgow. The pottery was closed by 1883. The Annfield pottery produced utilitarian rather than ornamental wares, and exported to Canada and Australia. Items may be marked with Thomson, J.T., J.T. & Sons or Prince of Wales.
