| China, glazed, white tea cup. With black transfer print and hand painting in colour. Gilt at rim and handle. On one side, 'European War 1914' with shield showing Union Jack on a shield and flags of the Allies (France, Belgium, Russia, Japan) with 'United We Stand' on banner underneath. On other side is motto 'NO PRICE CAN BE TOO HIGH / WHEN HONOUR AND FREEDOM / ARE AT STAKE'. 'Royal Albert Crown China England' stamped on base with '4084' hand painted. |
