| Description
| Green and blue check jumper with black collar and cuffs, worn by George Soper of The Cameronians (Scottish Rifles). George Soper enjoyed a career of over twenty years with The Cameronians, during which he was greatly involved with football. He played with the 1st Battalion Football Team and later organised Army Football in Scotland and worked with the Army Youth Football Team and the Scottish Football Association.
Soper joined to The Cameronians from the Seaforth Highlanders in 1945 as a Private and rose to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He was awarded both the O.B.E. and M.B.E. |
