Description
Dinner plate of the 90th Regiment. White, edged with gold band bordered by red. On raised edge of plate is a black transfer printed motif of a Sphinx sitting on a plinth labelled 'EGYPT' and a stringed powder horn with the initials 'PLI' [Perthshire Light Infantry] overlaid. The 90th Regiment joined with the 26th Regiment to form The Cameronians (Scottish Rifles) in 1881.
